"I bought a house in Seattle (well Lynnwood) in 2009, thinking I was there for a long haul. By the end of 2010, I had to relocate out of state for work and the house was worth much less than what I owed. I turned it into a rental and had great tenants but the rent didn't cover the mortgage so I decided to go down the path of a short-sale.
Krisanne spearheaded the entire effort for me, working with the bank, my property manager, my tenants and potential buyers. She made the entire convoluted process of the short-sale more manageable and stuck with it throughout the process. She stayed on top of the paperwork for me and just really took charge of the situation, which was a boon for me being out of state and not able to dedicate a lot of phone time to the efforts.
She was also the person that helped me buy my house and as a buyer's agent, she is an excellent resource and full of knowledge of the Seattle market and the neighborhoods. She's realistic and down to earth on her approach, not trying to be pushy or rush you into a purchase that doesn't meet your needs, just to make a sale. I recommend her if you're buying, selling or just looking at rentals on the way to buying. If I ever end up moving out the way again, I would not hesitate to contact her.
